We welcome you to our second annual Remembering Prince program at Chanhassen Library (just down the block from Paisley Park). This year we present Andrea Swensson, author of “Got to Be Something Here: The Rise of the Minneapolis Sound” and host of 89.3 The Current’s “The Local Show.” Her book traces the lineage of the music that informed Prince’s work from his first recordings onwards. The Carver County Historical Society will have little-seen prints of the Dr. Ginnie Love photo collection in display featuring Paisley Park and in quieter moments circa 2004-2006.
