Herbie Hancock is well-known in the jazz world as a legendary pianist and composer. He was also put on a pedestal by Prince throughout the entire course of his life. In middle school, while everyone was practicing their scales in piano class, Prince was playing through entire Herbie Hancock albums when the teacher would leave the room. During the Supermoon Jazz recording session in Paisley Park a couple years ago, the band was jamming, and Prince decided to come out, grab his guitar, and start playing the melody to Hancock's famous song "Chameleon." This event probably won't include Prince songs or stories, but you will get a glimpse into the music that molded our beloved P.
